We would like to start off by thanking everyone who participated in our survey regarding the webcams. We did not receive one negative response, so this month the cameras will be installed. We are so excited to be partnering with PB&J TV to bring this technology into the center. Tuition will not be raised until the last possible moment and we will keep you informed of these important changes.

Baseball season is here and Building Blocks is proudly  sponsoring the T-ball team the Texas Rangers this year! In support of this season, we will not charge an enrollment fee for baseball players during the month of February!

We would like to welcome our new Pre-K/Kinder teacher Ms. Kelly Stabler! She recently moved into Highlands from Louisiana and as a certified teacher and has taught   Pre-K and Kindergarten for over a decade. She will be a great edition to the Building Blocks family and we are glad to have her here!

The Valentines Party will be on Valentine’s Day this year. Party lists will be on the bulletin board a week prior to the party. Letters will be sent home from your child’s teacher for any materials that may be needed.

Summer is fast approaching and this year Building Blocks is putting together an awesome summer program! We will be purchasing a bus sometime in the next few months and field trips will begin to be planned. If parents have any suggestions for the summer time, please let us know!

As most of you know, one of the Balloon Mollies in the classroom had babies a couple of weeks ago. There are only two surviving babies and they are currently living on my desk. The children love watching the fish and crabs in their classroom and in the cafeteria. This is a great learning experience for them.
